Before the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, an interview with game designer Shigeru Ohmori could foreshadow more Mega Evolutions within the Hoenn remakes.

In October, Ohmori conducted an interview Eurogamer, where he was asked about more Mega Evolutions to come.

"Yes, there are many Pokemon with Mega Evolutions in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and some have not yet been revealed," said Ohmoru according to translations by Fennekin on Facebook.

"We expect players to explore the game and find out for themselves."

During the interview, Ohmori was also asked about Dragonite specifically getting a Mega Evolution.

"I want to save some surprises for the game, so you'll have to play to find out," teased Ohmori.

Unfortunately, some observers are uncertain whether this interview confirms the existence of more Mega Evolution in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, due to the timeline of the interview.

After the latest CoroCoro leaks for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the world of Pokemon has just opened up all the way into space.

The CoroCoro leaks confirm that a portion of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire will contain what is called Delta Episode. This part of the game tells the story of an asteroid heading for the planet and the story is said to have ties to the mysteries of Mega Evolution.

According to Serebii, a new character named Zinnia will be introduced in this story who will have ties to Delta Episode. In addition, the story will end with an epic clash between Mega Rayquaza and Legendary Pokemon Deoxys that will take place in space.
