Hyorin, Soyu and K.Will Star In Teasers For 'No.MERCY' Reality Survival Competition

Starship Entertainment and Mnet have released three teasers for the upcoming boy group survival competition No.MERCY. The reality show will follow 12 Starship Entertainment trainees as they compete and struggle for a chance to become part of the company's new hip-hop band. The intense match will premier on December 10 and have a total of ten episodes.

The animated teasers feature the trainees, SISTAR's Hyorin and Soyu, and solo vocalist K.Will. The latter K-Pop artists will be mentors on the show, along with San E, Giriboy, and Genius Nochang.

In the first teaser, Hyorin pretends to be a haughty opera singer in the middle of the park. She abruptly stops singing, lets go of the rope in her hands, and stomps her foot in frustration. The camera suddenly pans backward and a toy train filled with the 12 trainees is shown. The trainees are quickly introduced with pop-up bubbles above their heads before Hyorin glares them down, annoyed with their inactivity after she tried to pull them along with her.

The other two teasers follow the same comical formula. For the second video, K.Will rides his bike on a calming road next to a grassy field. But his quiet stroll is interrupted when his bike gets tangled with the toy train's rope. The trainees laugh as K.Will tries to peddle away futily. But they quickly become somber when K.Will gives them a cutting glare. But the most lively mentor was Soyu, who burst into an animated fire flame in the third teaser out of sheer anger.
