Billboard Praises YG Entertainment's New Group Hi Suhyun For Their Unique Vocals

U.S. Billboard has praised YG Entertainment's new unit group, Hi Suhyun.

On November 19, Billboard commented, "We won't be able to find another great pairing like this anywhere else" as they continued to report about their new song, "I'm Different."

Lee Hi and Akdong Musician member Suhyun have both been on the Billboard's 21 Under 21 list as well as the K-Pop Hot 100 list.

Pairing these talented two together brought much promise to fans as each member had their own distinct style and energy.

When analyzing their song, "I'm Different," Billboard pointed out that the jazz style sounds were similar to Lee Hi's "1,2,3,4" and "It's Over" while the bright melody and rap portions gave off a bit more of an Akdong Musician "200%" vibe.

Also, YG's new rookie group, iKON member Bobby featured in the song as well and did not disappoint as he showed off his rap skills.

Billboard commented, "Bobby is currently preparing to debut as iKON and only had a short rap part in the music video. However, that was enough to see his talent and more."

Billboard also talked about the "I'm Different" music video that released on November 18 and revealed the different characters Lee Hi and Suhyun played. They stated that Lee Hi showed a more cute image while Suhyun showed a more confident personality.

The music video is about Lee Hi and Suhyun both falling in love with Bobby. The two continuously follow Bobby around and try to appeal to him. The ending of the music video gives off an unexpected ending though.
