Indie Band 10cm Tops Music Charts In Korea And Singapore With Their New Album '3.0'

Indie duo 10Cm has released their new album, 3.0, and has been receiving much popularity overseas.

On November 19, 10Cm's third album was seen on not only Korean music sites, but also foreign sites including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and more.

Their new album, 3.0, has been receiving the most response from Korea, Singapore and other South Asia countries.

Currently, their new album has topped both the Korea and Singapore charts. This is a rare situation in Korea as most Korean indie bands do not top charts right after an album release.

This unexpected turnout has made their new album even more popular as more people have been looking into the album.

Many are also curious to see how their music will be viewed in foreign countries as well as they have been seen on many overseas charts.

It is the duo's first time to have a pre-released song top the charts after its release since they have debuted. They were seen high up on the list with other popular artists including Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Hi Suhyun.

On the other hand, 10Cm will be holding a concert in Seoul and Busan this December.

This band first debuted in 2010 and received much popularity with their song, "Americano." This album sold over 20,000 copies and was a huge success for this indie group.

The band consists of 2 members named Kwon Jung Yeol and Yoon Cheol Jong. The name of their band came from the height difference between the two members.

After their first single release in 2010, they won many awards at the Mnet Asian Music Awards and the Korean Music Awards.

In 2011, they held their first concert and also released their song, "Hold Me," which also ranked number 16 on the U.S. Billboard K-Pop Hot 100 chart.
