The latest Oscar Pistorius news update alleged that his sister broke prison rules in order to celebrate his birthday, as Reeva Steenkamp's mother claimed that the "Blade Runner" abused his murdered girlfriend.

According to MailOnline, sister Aimee and brother Carl visited him at the maximum security of Kgosi Mampuru in Pretoria to mark his 29th birthday.

But reports have alleged that Oscar Pistorius' siblings brought with them cake and balloons, which were against prison rules. That prompted a series of tweets from Aimee, denying the rumors.

The British tabloid offered Oscar Pistorius news update when it published the tweets by Aimee. In one of the posts, she wrote: "I am dumbfounded at the false and irresponsible reporting in some newspapers today."

"My brother received NOTHING that was not allowed by prison regulations for group B prisoners. No cake or perishables present at all," she said, adding: "In fact, he only received toiletries and letters on his birthday and we took some balloons to show him through the glass divider."

She said that they have respected the prison rules and will never do anything to flout them.

Meanwhile, The Independent revealed that Oscar Pistorius had a pattern of abusive behavior with her daughter Reeva Steenkamp.

Just like one time when her daughter called her, just three months into her relationship with the Paralympian, to say that "Pistorius was driving dangerously at 161mph with her in the car."

"One day she phoned me and said, 'Mummy, Oscar's driving like a lunatic.' And I said, 'Well, you just put him on the phone," June Steenkamp said. "And I said to him, 'if you hurt my baby, I will have you wiped out' - just trying to scare him. And apparently he slowed down straightaway."
