James Bond 24 2015: Hilary Swank is rumored to be the next Bond girl in the upcoming James Bond franchise film. The star of Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry may be the female lead opposite Daniel Craig's James Bond.

According to Media Mass, a source close to Swank revealed, "The producers have tried to get Hilary before, but she has never been available because of other commitments," a source close to the production said about the actress. "The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now."

The James Bond news flooded Twitter and spawned a Facebook page called "We Want Hilary Swank for Bond Girl".

Hilary Ann Swank wont two Best Actress Oscars and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.

Swank was first seen on the big screen in the 1992 movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her breakout role was the lead in The Next Karate Kid in 1994, alongside Pat Morita. Hilary was part of the main cast in Beverly Hills 90210 season 8, where she played single mom Carly Reynolds.

Swank played Brandon Teena in the 1999 biopic Boys Don't Cry, nabbing the Academy Award for Best Actress and Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama. Swank also starred in Million Dollar Baby, Clint Eastwood's 2004 sports drama. Swank won her a second Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Actress as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for the role.

Swank also appeared in The Gift (2000), Insomnia (2002), Iron Jawed Angels (2004), The Reaping (2007), P.S. I Love You (2007), Freedom Writers (2007), the biographical aviation film Amelia (2009) and New Year's Eve (2011). This year, Swank starred in two movies, You're Not You, and The Homesman.

There are also rumors that Django Unchained star Christoph Waltz will play James Bond's old adversary, Blofeld, in the upcoming "Bond 24" 2015 movie. The white cat petting Ernst Stavro Blofeld has not been seen in a James Bond film in over 30 years.
