Each year brings more and more K-Pop acts to countries around the globe, and 2014 brought more than 70 concerts to countries outside of Asia. But only one girl group had a solo concert tour.

Despite around K-Pop 80 shows in countries in Europe, The Americas, Africa, and Australia, 4Minute was the only girl group to headline a tour outside of Asia. The five-member girl group held two fan meetings in May in Sweden and Spain. Other than that, K-Pop girl groups only toured outside of Asia with other Korean acts, often for weekly music show broadcasts that were held abroad.

The majority of K-Pop concert-goers are female, and male idol groups are more popular, and profitable, among international K-Pop fans. 

4Minute gained global attention in 2012, when rapper HyunA featured in Psy's hit "Gangnam Style." 

Along with having shows in Europe, 4Minute also released an album '4Minute World' in 2014. HyunA also released here extremely popular song, "Red." Members Sohyun and Jihyun also were involved in several acting projects.   

B.A.P, B1A4, VIXX, U-KISS, and CNBLUE all had more than five solo concerts in Europe, Australia, and The Americas, making them some of the most widely-traveled groups of 2014.

Popular idol groups like Girls' Generation, BEAST, INFINITE 2NE1, Big Bang, EXO, Super Junior, and rookies like WINNER and Got7 performed primarily in Asia. 

Park Jung Min of SS501 and Eric Nam are two of the few solo acts to have solo tours in 2014. Baek Z Young is the only solo female artist to have solo shows in the United States in the same year.

There were also no entertainment companies "family" concerts held outside of Asia in 2014, although SM Entertainment has announced that it's SMTOWN tour will likely head to Europe in 2015.  

ToppDogg and FT Island both have confirmed dates for 2015 to head outside of Asia.
