Q1. How can Eun Oh see ghosts? What is his relationship with the Jade Emperor?

In the beginning of the series, the Jade Emperor (Yoo Seung Ho) and Eun Oh (Lee Jun Ki) didn't seem to have much of a relationship. However, the story revealed that the Jade Emperor had saved young Eun Oh, who had almost died from a high fever. It was revealed that Eun Oh grew up to be the Jade Emperor's secret weapon, as he had been given the ability to see ghosts after his high fever.

Q2. Who is Kang Moon Young?

Kang Moon Young is Lady Suh and 'Hong Ryeon,' who has a special relationship with 'Muyeon' as well. Lady Suh, Eun Oh's mother, had disappeared without a trace three years ago. What happened has not been revealed in the drama just yet but it seems that she has reappeared 3 years later as a demon who feeds on souls of pure women.

The person who has taken on the body of Lady Suh is none other than Muyeon, the younger sister of Muyoung, who is Death.

Q3. What is Joo Wal and Lord Choi's relationship with Hong Ryeon?

Joo Wal had always been made fun of ever since he was little kid for having to steal other kids' leftovers. Hong Ryeon had promised him that if he does her bidding that she'll allow him to eat three meals a day and live like a real person. She named him Joo Wal and sent him to be adopted by Lord Choi.

From then on, Joo Wal did anything Hong Ryeon told him to and gave her the pure women every 15 days and that was prolonging her life. Lord Choi was afflicted by an incurable disease and she was the only one who could stop the pain.

Q4. How are Arang and Joo Wal connected?

Before Arang (Shin Min Ah) died, her name was Lee Seo Rim and she was the daughter of an official in Miryang and was engaged to Joo Wal. However, when she died, she lost all her memory of what she used to be when she was alive. In addition, Joo Wal says, "I was engaged to Lee Seo Rim but I had never really seen her face," which confuses her even more.

However, they discover the letter Lee Seo Rim had written. She had mentioned her possible marriage to him to her father after falling in love with him at first sight. Arang finally remembers how she first met Joo Wal, which was proof that the two of them were linked together fatally as well.

Q5. Why isn't Arang dead?

Arang had been wandering the land of the living in order to solve the mystery of her death and with the help of the witch Bang Wool, she heads to the land of the dead in order to confront the Jade Emperor. That's why the Emperor allows her 3 full moons in a human body in order to find out the truth about her death.

This is when the Jade Emperor gives her the power of immortality. This is another way that the Jade Emperor plans to capture and destroy Hong Ryeon, who is currently throwing off the balance between the living and the dead. He knew that Hong Ryeon would go after Arang when she learned of Arang's immortality.

Q6. Why is Hong Ryeon trying to get Arang?

Hong Ryeon is maintaining her long life by sucking the souls of pure women. Joo Wal had killed Arang at first in order for Hong Ryeon to prolong her life. However, when she realizes that Arang is immortal, she is now seeking out Arang's immortal body. If Hong Ryeon acquires Arang's immortal body, then she will be forever youthful and live forever.

Q7. Why are there no random ghosts at Lord Choi's house?

In the beginning, Arang knew that there were random ghosts who were attached to things in the house. However, Arang found it strange when she discovered that there were no ghosts at Joo Wal's house. This was because of Hong Ryeon, who was staying there. She attached charms around the house, which prevented other ghosts from entering and she destroyed all the ghosts who had originally been there. This would prevent the Jade Emperor from not knowing where she was.

Q8. How long have Dol Swe and Bang Wool liked each other?

Bang Wool is a witch but she does not have complete power and therefore could never be a respected witch. She was living her life based half on assumptions and half on her gifted instinct. She falls in love with Dol Swe at first sight when she sees him doused in water after running away from him for tricking Eun Oh. He also falls in love with her and the two started a romance.

Q9. How did Eun Oh and Arang meet?

Arang recognized that Eun Oh could see ghosts and she asks him for help in finding out the truth about her death. Eun Oh had been wandering in order to find his mother who had disappeared without a trace 3 years ago. He finds that she carries his mother's hairpin and realizes that she may also be able to help him. The two shared a common goal and the two of them develop feelings for each other.

Q10. What happens to the love triangle between Eun Oh, Arang and Joo Wal?

Eun Oh recently confessed to Arang, his feelings about her and how they're growing. However, because she does not have much time left in the land of the living, she is pushing him away, saying harsh words. Joo Wal, who was ordered to get rid of all his feelings for her, is finally not able to stab her, which was an indication of how he felt about her as well.
