Critics Say that Rowling's New Book is Lacking "Magic"

Author J.K Rowling, who is known for the Harry Potter series, has released her first adult book, "The Casual Vacancy."

Rowling's new book was released today and has received mixed reviews from critics.

Some critics enjoyed the characters in the book and liked relating them characters from the Harry Pottter series.

Others believed that writing a different genre was good for as she needed a break from writing about wizards and magic for so long.

The Guardian newspaper stated that although the book wasn't "magical," it was still a great book.

Her new book is supposedly supposed to print 2 million copies for the United States alone.

Her last Harry Potter book was the fastest-selling book in history with over 450 million copies sold alone

Rowling is known as the first author billionaire but was first started off as an unemployed single mother in the 90s.

Many are saying that if it weren't for the name on the book, it probably would not have sold as much. Many believe that her books would even be a bit better if the characters were all carrying 'wands'.
