The season 9 premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" begins today, September 27 and will explain more on what happened after the plane crash from the previous season.

The last episode of the show from the previous season had the doctors on a mountain after a plane crash.

The premiere title is "Going Going, Gone." 

The executive producer commented, "The people that were injured in the previous season are not going to be all better this season. We are going to see what happens to a doctor who can't perform surgery for a short period of time."

Last seaon's last episode made it look like Mark was going to die and Arizona's future to still be unsure.

The executive producer also stated that it will be a "season of romance" this year as well.

They have also revealed that they will be filming in a new location as well.

The attitudes of the characters are all different due to the shooting and the plane crash that has traumatized them.

The producer continues that the character of Meredith will be taking it the hardest this season.

This show will air on Thursday's at 9/8c.
