Former KARA member Nicole released her debut solo album, First Romance, last month under B2M Entertainment. The idol has been diligently promoting the single "Mama" on various music programs, most recently in SBS MTV's The Show. Nicole recently uploaded two dance practice videos for her title track onto her official YouTube account, giving fans an unedited look at the sensual moves of the jazzy choreography.

The first video is shot from a low angle in the B2M dance studio. Fans are given a frontal view of the dance as if they're standing in the first row underneath a stage. Nicole stays in the center like the ring leader as the dance breaks into clapping and piano playing sequences. She wore black sporty wear, sneakers and a plaid sweater tied around her hips. The second dance practice video is shot from above and behind the ensuing choreography. Fans see the dance through the reflection of the wall-to-ceiling mirrors of the dance studio. This video angle is unique since it makes you feel like a background dancer rather than a spectator. You can see this second video below!

Fans are responding positively to Nicole's solo work after her long musical hiatus. The top rated comment under the first dance video, by IIsYouAndYouIsMe, exclaims, "Wooohooo!!! I'm so glad that she is in the same company as Spica and Lee Hyori."

Nicole had previously thanked her fans for their patience. During a short interview section in her debut showcase, she said, "Thank you for waiting for the past year. Waiting for a year must be easier to say than do, but I am grateful for the supportive messages you have sent me through social media."
