Bob Dylan New Album 2014 ‘Shadows In The Night’ Is Stripped Down Frank Sinatra; Mr. Tambourine Man Elected Chairman of the Board

Bob Dylan New Album 2015: Bob Dylan is making a not-so-hostile bid to become the next Chairman of the Board. The new Bob Dylan studio album, "Shadows In The Night," is Mr. Tambourine man's way of going from here to eternity.

The new Dylan album has 10 songs on it that were made famous by Frank Sinatra. Including "Full Moon and Empty Arms," which is available for sale, "Some Enchanted Evening" 'Full Moon And Empty Arms', 'What I'll Do' and "Stay With Me."

"It was a real privilege to make this album. I've wanted to do something like this for a long time but was never brave enough to approach 30-piece complicated arrangements and refine them down for a 5-piece band. That's the key to all these performances," said Bob Dylan in a statement.

The new Bob Dylan album will be released through Columbia Records on CD, vinyl digital formats on Feb. 3, 2015 and it all Frank Sinatra. Shadows in the Night is produced by Jack Frost, who is really Bob Dylan.

Shadows in the Night will show Dylan at his interpretive best. In a press release, Dylan said these songs are not "covers."

"I don't see myself as covering these songs in any way. They've been covered enough. Buried, as a matter a fact. What me and my band are basically doing is uncovering them. Lifting them out of the grave and bringing them into the light of day."

"That's the key to all these performances. We knew these songs extremely well. It was all done live. Maybe one or two takes. No overdubbing. No vocal booths. No headphones. No separate tracking, and, for the most part, mixed as it was recorded.

"There are no strings, obvious horns, background vocals or other such devices often found on albums that feature standard ballads.  Instead, Bob has managed to find a way to infuse these songs with new life and contemporary relevance. It is a brilliant record and we are extremely excited to be presenting it to the world very soon," said Rob Stringer, chairman of Columbia Records.
