Peyton Manning To Retire? Broncos Quarterback Interested In Owning And Operating An NFL Team; Could Potentially Own The Tennessee Titans [PHOTO]

These questions seem to be looming in everyone's minds these days: Will Peyton Manning retire? And if so, when? According to CBS Sports, Manning has expressed an interest in owning and operating an NFL team, and is interested in pursuing a second career along the lines of Broncos' executive John Elway.

Fansided reports that most people around Manning assume he won't be thinking about his playing future until the season comes to a close. However, he has often chatted with Browns owner Jimmy Haslam - supposedly, the two spoke frequently in the past about potential ownership of the Tennessee Titans prior to Haslam ultimately purchasing the Browns.

The Titans are believed to fetch upwards of $2 billion on the market, and has many interested buyers besides Manning. CBS Sports reports that potential buyers include Fred Smith (CEO of FedEx), and Steelers minority owner David Tepper. If Manning chooses to end his playing days sooner than later, his interest in team ownership will not be lost on other potential Titans buyers.

Sources say that Manning has not expressed any intent on leaving the Broncos, stating, "no one has any idea if this is it or not... I don't even think he knows." Indeed, his future is still unclear - Peyton Manning once stated, "[Tom] Brady said he was going to play until he sucked. That's a pretty good line. I'm kind of the same feel. I don't have a set number...Yeah, right until you suck - I think that's a pretty good rule right there.

I love playing for this team and I love representing this team, and hopefully I can do that for as long as I can. When I suck, I'll retire. But I don't plan on sucking for a long time. So hopefully that leads me to being here, and there's no place I'd rather be."
