Although 2NE1 has been abstaining from domestic activities, Japanese fans will have opportunities to meet the idol group in their series of fan meetings planned throughout December.

According to an alleged schedule that popped up online, 2NE1 will visit Tokyo's Zepp Divercity on December 12, the Dojima River Forum in Osaka on December 13 and 14, Scalar Espacio in Fukuoka on December 19 and Zepp Nagoya in Aichi on December 20. And now, photos and videos from the fan meetings in Tokyo and Osaka have confirmed this schedule.

"Because of the fan meetings, I decided to study Japanese with the utmost effort," said 2NE1's Park Bom in Japanese according to WeLoveBom.com. "I studied but...I don't understand [Japanese]. Because I'm stupid."

Currently, 2NE1 is abstaining from year-end ceremonies due to Park Bom's alleged drug scandal this year.

"Though they've received a number of offers for music award ceremonies, we respectfully declined," said a YG rep according to allkpop. "Park Bom is still reflecting, so we ask for your understanding."

"2NE1 cannot put on a show without Park Bom. However, besides that, Park Bom is not participating in any other domestic schedules. She is currently taking time to self-reflect. Please support them until they make their comeback. They will make a good album and come back as 2NE1."

However, OSEN recently reported that CL, Minzy and Dara of 2NE1 might attend "SBS Gayo Daejun" on December 21 without Park Bom.

In addition to CL's solo debut, 2NE1 could also be embarking on their international debut starting with a re-release of "I Am the Best."

"The girls of 2NE1 together have been signed by Capitol Records to start their international slayage," wrote iMusicBuzz. "For now, the old version of 'I Am the Best' uploaded in 2011 by their domestic label YG Entertainment was just removed and reuploaded by Capital Records with a new single cover on December 11."
