BTS Member V Recognized For Having 2014's Most Re-Tweeted Twitter Post In Korea
A member of BTS wrote the most retweeted tweet in South Korea of the year only a couple weeks before the end of 2014.
On December 4, BTS member V received the most retweets in 2014 for a picture he shared showing himself with EXO's Baekhyun. The picture went viral due to the fact that the two appeared nearly identical in the photo, which was allegedly taken at Mnet Asia Music Awards 2014 (MAMA 2014). Both BTS and EXO performed at MAMA 2014, and the two idols were styled very similarily.
The picture was shared with the message, "MAMA was really enjoyable and interesting and we will show a cooler performance next time! Thank you ARMY [BTS' fanclub] and thank you very much for waiting. Congratulations Hyung [lit. "older brother," meaning Baekhyun] for receiving the award~"
The tweet was shared on the account that all of the members of BTS share to post snippets of their daily lives. As of December 16, the picture has been retweeted over 56,000 times.
Big Bang leader G-Dragon had the second most retweeted tweet in Korea, with around 53,000 retweets, while Super Junior's Siwon came in third with a tweet being retweeted nearly 45,000 times.
