Mortal Kombat X Release Date And Roster Revealed To Be The Same For All Platform; Nether Realm Confirms No More Kratos For PS4 Only

For the latest update on the upcoming title Mortal Kombat X, which will have a release date anytime in 2015, Nether Realm formally announced that there would be no more exclusive characters on the game based on the console. It was seen on its previous installations in the MK series that exclusive characters were available across platforms. One example was when Kratos was seen to appear only on the PlayStation.

"We have no platform exclusive characters planned for MKX," Mortal Kombat X Executive Producer Shaun Himmerick confirmed as reported by PlayStation Lifestyle.

Release date of the NetherRealm title was confirmed to be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 2015.

After its initial reveal with a gameplay trailer shown this year, which featured only Sub Zero and Scorpion, new and familiar names are set to be added and confirmed for the game. Names like  Raiden, Kano, Cassie Cage, Sonia Blade, Quan Chi, Liu Kang and Kenshi, D'Vorah, Kotal Kahn and Ferra and Torr were added.

Latest addition Liu Kang and Kenshi were rumored after their voice actors were confirmed on the official IMDB page of the game.

Mortal Kombat X was formally announced alongside the new characters on E3 2014 and the announcement of added characters were later on announced. There are no final complete roster announced as of now but is expected to be complete before the year ends.

Mortal Kombat X release date is also announced by WB Games UK that it will be available on 2015 for all platforms including the PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and for the PC.
