Though from different generations, Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez managed to charm each other after meeting at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles several weeks ago. The "Friends" actress not only befriended the former Disney star but also imparted nuggets of wisdom on her.

According to Ok! magazine, the two actresses instantly became close. Now, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star makes sure to ask Brad Pitt's ex-wife for advice on almost everything including "how to handle the pressures in Hollywood and even advice about boys."

The "Cake" actress also managed to give her insight on Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber's relationship. The blonde beauty is reportedly aware of the two's toxic relationship. For this reason, the "Horrible Bosses 2" star congratulated Gomez "for having the courage to walk away, saying she'll be a wiser and more secure person for it."

Rumors are surfacing that Bieber is trying to win back the "Who Says" songstress but his advances might go unnoticed especially now that Aniston told Gomez that she's "better off without her cheating ex."

In the middle of Bieber's alleged wooing of Gomez, he is likewise being linked to up-and-coming model, Hailey Baldwin. The two are continuously seen spending time with each other though the Canadian crooner said that Baldwin's just his friend.

Gomez appears to be clearly happy that Aniston took her under her wing that the "Montecarlo" actress even expressed her gratitude on Instagram.

 "I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8," Gomez said in the caption, "and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie CAKE, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year. #cake #goseeit."
