Actress and fashion model, Yaya DaCosta who also was the runner-up in Cycle 3 of 'America's Next Top Model' and her husband of two years, Joshua Bee Alafia are headed down Splitville Lane.

DaCosta, 32, has parted ways with her husband, according to the Big Words star's rep who confirmed it to Us Weekly.

The model-turned-actress has 15-month-old son Sankara with her now-ex-husband, Joshua Bee Alafia. She married the independent movie producer in June 26, 2012. No reason has been given for the split after two years of marriage.

DaCosta is all set to star as Whitney Houston in the upcoming Lifetime biopic. After competing on the Tyra Banks-led show, DaCosta went on to have a successful career, appearing in ads for Garnier Fructis, Lincoln Townhouse, Oil of Olay, Radioshack, Seda, Sephora and Dr. Scholl's. She also appeared in episodes of All My Children and Ugly Betty and star in 2013's Lee Daniels' 'The Butler.'

DaCosta is currently filming The Nice Guys, in which she appears opposite Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. The gorgeous actress will be next seen playing the legendary singer who passed away at the age of 48 in February 2012, in 'Whitney,' the TV movie which airs on January 17.

Yaya took to her Instagram to share a picture which clearly showed that she had removed her wedding ring, on Thursday. In the shot which was taken in a hotel room, she showed off her stomach and captioned the picture, 'When dinner was so good you couldn't keep your jeans buttoned.'

'The more you love your decisions, the less you need others to love them,' Yaya shared the quote earlier in the day.

While, Yaya makes her debut on Lifetime on January 17th at 8/7c, neither of them have personally confirmed why the twosome decided to split.
