Comedian Jimmy Fallon and Oprah Winfrey on The Tonight Show on December 15 took a trip down memory lane by showcasing a number of rare clips from their 1980s soap opera "Midnight Meadows".

Many people do not know that the two actually co-starred on "Midnight Meadows" before they became giant stars. On Monday, the two reminisced on their time together and talk about their experiences with the director.

Rolling Stone wrote that Jimmy Fallon and Oprah Winfrey on The Tonight Show played characters Broderick and Valentina Kensington again, who both spoke in digitally-altered voices, making them sound like aliens. Fallon wore feathered hair and a smoking jacket, which was actually the same one he wore in another '80s TV show he starred in with Carol Burnett. Winfrey had a brooch on, adding "Dah-ling" to her statements.

They featured an episode where Fallon got suspicious of Winfrey fidelity and confronted her, resulting to a high-pitched argument. Their exchange sounded very much like Alvin and the Chipmunks fighting. Winfrey finally slapped Fallon on the face to end the row. The director also tested the audio by giving Oprah a Darth Vader growl.

Both Jimmy Fallon and Oprah Winfrey on The Tonight Show had to change clothes and rush back to the desk after each presentation. The two continue to recall their best moments together on the set.

In another part of the show, Fallon tried to convince Winfrey that there was a third of episode MM. Before featuring the last clip, Fallon confessed that the director, who kept toggling the audio, went crazy after filming the final episode, which explains their auto-tuned conversations.

Although the two managed to fix their relationship in altered voices, Fallon again gets suspicious when he discovered a set of car keys. Winfrey tried to reassure him by saying, "Those keys belong to you! Because those are the keys to your - Brand! New! Car!"

Fallon reacted, "I'm getting a car. And I'm getting a car. And I'm getting a car!"

Fans had a blast watching Jimmy Fallon and Oprah Winfrey back together on The Tonight Show despite the vocal imperfections. In October 2014, Fallon also showcased an episode with previous co-star Carol Burnett.
