Constantine Season 1 News Update: NBC Announces Constantine Return Date Will Be In An Earlier Timeslot; Will Constantine Quit Smoking?

Constantine season 1 will continue after the midseason break in January but you're going to have to catch it early.

NBC took to Twitter to announce that "Constantine" will be returning Friday January 16. "Constantine" season 2 part 2 will be seen in a brand new time slot, 8 p.m. instead of its usual slot of 10 p.m.

The comic book angel show will only have 13 episodes in Constantine season one. NBC is supporting the show and probably thinks the new time slot will help it get a second season.

The DC Comics Hellblazer adaptation is still unsure if it will get a Constantine season 2.

Pairing up Constantine and Grimm on Friday nights was a good show of support from the network, but the 10 pm time slot is a bit of a dead zone over. Who stays home on a Friday night to watch TV?

NBC suits move Consantine so it will be the lead-in show to Grimm starting January 16th at 8 p.m.

Constantine has five more episodes remaining for its freshman season but fans are worried that the 8 p.m. slot may mean Constantine will have to tone down the horror, violence, smoking, or drinking.

Fans are already worried that it will mean a toned-down series.
