Girls Generation (SNSD) 'Oh' Receives Gold Certificate in Japan 2 Weeks After Release
Girl group Girls Generation's 5th Japanese single Oh was certified "Gold" by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).
According to RIAJ revealed the September list yesterday showed both Oh and DVD set Girls Generation Complete Video Collection to have sold more than 100,000 copies each in just two weeks since their release on September 26 an indication of the girls unending popularity in Japan.
The girls set a new record earlier this year with first Japanese studio album Girls Generation, released June of last year, surpassing the million sales mark.
Fans are excited to know as the group is also to release 6th Japanese single Flower Power and 2nd Japanese studio album, title is yet to be revealed, hitting stores respectively on November 14 and 28.
