Amanda Knox's Murder Case Appeal Will Exonerate Her? Italian Juiciary Accused Of Framing 'Foxy Knoxy,' Ex Boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito

Amanda Knox's murder case appeal will reportedly exonerate her as the Italian judiciary is accused again of framing the University of Washington student and ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito.

According to the new report from Ground Report, one of the biggest indications that the murder case appeal of Amanda Knox will swing on her favor is the promotion of Giuliano Mignini.

"In his new role, he will never again prosecute a case or lead an investigation, he is only allowed to sit with other judges on appeals courts. So the judiciary can be confident there will be no more Mignini led witch hunts," the article said.

The former Italian prosecutor has been accused of manipulating evidence and pressuring witnesses into pinning down Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito for the murder of Meredith Kercher. In fact, Mignini faced charges for for abuse of office for the "Narducci trail" investigation.

"Mignini wanted his promotion at all costs, and was willing to convict and imprison dozens of innocent people to get his way," the article alleged. "Amanda and Raffaele are only two of Mignini's more recent victims, but there are scores of damaged lives left behind in the wake of Mignini's lust for career advancement."

Earlier, a petition was uploaded on Change.org, which is addressed to the Ministero della Giustizia of Italy, UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and the US Department of State.

The group wants independent investigators to look into the "allegations from Members of Parliament that the prosecution's evidence against Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox is 'contradictory and unreliable' which resulted in 'unfair treatment of the defendants.'"

The letter addressed to the Ministero della Giustizia in connection with  the Amanda Knox murder case reads: "Please investigate the activities of local law enforcement authorities and consular staff in the aftermath of the death of Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy on November 1, 2007. There were multiple violations of national and international laws."
