Girl group Girls' Generation's member Sooyoung will be leaving her MC position of "Midnight TV."

On December 23, SBS said, "Girls' Generation Sooyoung who has been an MC of SBS 'Midnight TV' since June 6, 2012 for the past 2 years and 6 months will be leaving with tomorrow's (24th) episode as her last."

Sooyoung has various national and oversea schedules with Girls' Generation next year so she decided to leave her MC position.

Through the staff, Sooyoung said, "So many great things happened after I decided to be an MC of this show. I was busy because of concerts and such but it was so meaningful. I will always consider 'Midnight TV' a part of my family."

The announcer Jang Ye Won will be taking over her position.
