TS Entertainment's new female group Sonamoo just held their debut showcase on December 29th at Ilchi Art Hall in Chungdam-dong.

The seven member female group consists of members Nahyun, New Sun, Eui Jin, D.ana, High.D, Sumin, and Minjae.

The sang their debut hip-hop single titled, "Deja Vu" during their showcase and also revealed which idol group they look up to most.

Sonamoo's role model is Big Bang. Leader Sumin said during the showcase on December 29th, "BIGBANG is our role model. We want to be loved all around the world just like BIGBANG."

Since their name means 'pine tree' in Korean, the group explained what kind of music they would like to bring to the industry and audience. The group said, "We hope to be known as the idols who heal with our music and also a group with unexpected charms. As our name is, we want to show a lot of refreshing and green music. I hope a lot of people can find happiness while listening to our hopeful music."

When the members were asked if they have any female role models, the girls said, "In a way, we think that other girl groups are all well-intentioned rivals. We want to work hard and show our own distinct colors. More than role models, we want to stand tall. We think it′s a fight amongst ourselves."

The message of Sonamoo's single is about a fateful love story meeting; which the person feels like it has happened before. "Deja Vu" is contained in their mini album; which contains a total of six tracks.
