Mark Zuckerberg’s New Project Can Rival The Oprah Winfrey Book Club! Find Out The Facebook Founder’s 2015 New Year’s Resolution

While his loyalty for social networking remains unwavered, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg still recognizes the value of reading books. Recently, he announced that for this year, he'd read one book every other week.

To prove that he is serious, the CEO of the famed networking site put up a new page called "A Year of Books." The page promises to share literature news, suggestions, and impressions from Zuckerberg himself.

"I'm excited for my reading challenge," wrote Zuckerberg. "I've found reading books very intellectually fulfilling. Books allow you to fully explore a topic and immerse yourself in a deeper way than most media today. I'm looking forward to shifting more of my media diet towards reading books."
The first book in his list is penned by Moises Naim - "The End of Power: From Boardrooms to Battlefields and Churches to States, Why Being in Charge Isn't What It Used to Be."

"It's a book that explores how the world is shifting to give individual people power traditionally only held by large governments, militaries and other organisations," wrote Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg's latest venture benefits Amazon.com. Within 24 hours, Zuckerberg's first selection was declared sold out on the website. The elated CEO thanked those who purchased the book and suggested Barnes and Noble as an alternative place to acquire a copy.

The 30-year-old is known for coming up with peculiar yet reasonable resolutions. Previously, he vowed to meet a new person every single day and to also write a gratitude note on a daily basis. Another resolution is him eating meat from animals he had killed himself.
