After seven long years, "Expendables" star Sylvester Stallone has finally confirmed that there will be a "Rambo: Last Blood" movie

The action star took to Twitter his announcement of "Scarpa" a biopic about Gregory "the Grim Reaper" Scarpa, a well-known capo for the Colombo crime family during the 1970s and 80s.

Stallone then followed up his Tweet with a revelation that he's done writing the script for the movie, which he did not mention. However, it might be safe to assume that the project he's talking about is "Rambo: Last Blood."

During an interview with MTV, "Expendables" star Sylvester Stallone gamely answered questions about the highly anticipated follow up to his hit Vietnam veteran character John Rambo at Cinema Con.

"There's a volcanic eruption [brewing]. The magma of Rambo is coming to the surface," Stallone admitted when asked about the possibility of the iconic character to appear on the silver screen again.

He then revealed that he's working on a story for Rambo and what could be a possible continuation he could tell the people about the character.

"I know there is," he confirmed. "It's one thing where you lay down the final culmination of your life where you can articulate it, but also act on it where he realizes what his destiny really is," Stallone shared about what the character's life at the present.

He continued saying, "It's not to be a farmer, it's not to be obscure; it's to go out in a blaze of glory in a heroic fashion. But is he really doing it for himself or is he doing it because that's just his id? That's who he is."

And as for the possible setting "Expendables" star Sylvester Stallone revealed that he's eyeing on the "Mexican theme."

"I like the whole Mexican situation, what's going on down there," Stallone said. "So I'm working on a formula for it right now."
