Shin Hyun Joon's acting has reached a high point.

He current plays Go Su Nam in KBS' "Ohlala Couple" and Su Nam is currently imbued with the soul of Na Yeo Ok (Kim Jung Eun). 

At the beginning of the series, Shin Hyun Joon focused more on the comedic aspect of the soul change and did it flawlessly. He had copied how Kim Jung Eun would say things, how she would move and many viewers laughed because he seemed to be exactly like her.

However, what's important to note is that he is successfully portraying the emotionality of a female character. Though actors almost always have a very distinct way of delivering lines or very unique mannerisms, Shin Hyun Joon is almost exactly copying those of Kim Jung Eun, who must have built that up over decades of her acting career. 

It's easy to play feminine and do it funny but it's incredibly hard to shed tears while pretending to be a woman. Shin Hyun Joon is making viewers laugh and cry with his performance, which is incredibly rare and difficult. 

On the Wednesday episode of "Ohlala Couple" Go Su Nam (Shin Hyun Joon) cries in the car because his body still has the soul of Na Yeo Ok (Kim Jung Eun) and she just found out that Jang Hyun Woo (Han Jae Suk) left her after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer. She was crying not only because of the news but also because she could not go to him easily while she is still in Su Nam's body.

Shin Hyun Joon is moving viewer with his very apt portrayal and the reaction has been incredibly positive so far.
