Mac OS X 10.11 Unveiling At WWDC 2015 In June? Public Release Set For September Or October?

Rumors about the possible release schedule of Apple's follow-up to Mac OS X 10.10 emerge online.

There's not much solid information about the Mac OS X 10.11 release date and features available but speculations are suggesting that the next-gen operating system will be unveiled during the summer.

More particularly, the Mac OS X 10.11 is purported to be unveiled at Apple's WWDC 2015, which, according to initial rumors, is slated to happen from June 8 to 12. As for its public release, folks from MacWorld.co.uk are expecting that it will be available in September or October.

The post also listed some of the highly-wanted features from the Mac OS X 10.11. One of them is Wi-fi improvement, or a fix for the Wi-fi feature. The MacWorld post reads, "...it would be nice if the Wi-Fi features of OS X 10.11 worked at launch - unlike the tiresome experience our reviewer had with Yosemite."

Other features and changes included in the wish list are improvements to the Safari's interface, enhanced search functionality in Apple Store, predictive text similar to the style of QuickyType and a lot more.

As for other news regarding Apple's OS update, the Cupertino-based tech firm recently seeded a new build for its Mac OS X 10.10.2 beta. BidnessEtc reports that it the newest beta "stresses developers to continue improving VoiceOver functionalities, Wi-Fi Connectivity, and the Mail app."

To install the OS update, registered Mac developers can access the firmware from the Developer Center. It can also be downloaded from the Mac AppStore's Update Section.
