Big Bang, WINNER, iKON, Psy Preparing New Releases

Industry insiders in Korea are reporting that popular YG Entertainment artists are planning on releasing new music in the first half of 2015.

Multiple male artists at YG Entertainment have allegedly been working around the clock in order to release music that fans will love. Big Bang, WINNER, and Psy have all been pegged for releases in 2015.

An entertainment industry official said that there is non-stop recording taking place inside the YG Entertainment building in Seoul.

Big Bang, one of K-pop's most popular acts, has not made a comeback in several years, although the five members have individually hinted to new music being released in 2015. The report that they are recording music at YG Entertainment's building fits into multiple rumors throughout the past few months.

This will be Big Bang's first release as a quintet in Korea since 2012's "Alive."

"The many recording studios in the (YG Entertainment) building are being used almost all the time, mainly by male artists," reported the K-Pop Herald.

iKON, YG Entertainment's highly-anticipated upcoming male idol group, is also rumored to be among the male artists recording at YG Entertainment. Industry insiders implied that iKON's debut may come within January or February.

Psy, known around the globe for "Gangnam Style," will release a new album in the next few months. He has previously said that he will be trying a new style that is very different from "Gangnam Style" and its follow up song, "Gentleman."

WINNER's upcoming comeback was announced by YG Entertainment at the end of December, but no formal date has since been announced.
