Chad Michael Murray and his wife Sarah Roemer will soon welcome their first child together as confirmed by the "Agent Carter" actor's representative. The news surprised many as the pair confirmed their marriage only last Tuesday.

"Chad and Sarah are extremely happy and excited, and enjoying their life together," announced Murray's representative to Us Weekly. "We please ask that their privacy be respected at this special and personal time."

Last Thursday, the "Cinderella Story" actor subtly confirmed the news by wearing a wedding ring at the Winter 2015 TCA party of ABC.

Chad Michael Murray and wife Sarah Romer dated for five months before tying the knot. Their relationship began in August last year after meeting on the set of "Chosen."

Known for playing Lucas Scott in the hit series "One Tree Hill," many are still wondering if the 33-year-old still misses those days. It appears that Murray has something to be thankful for as he transitions into a father because according to him, the show taught him to understand an array of emotions.

"It was a large part of my life, so every day that goes by, at some point you'll see something that refers to it, or at least I will, in my life," he previously told Cosmopolitan. "Playing the moral compass for that show, which is what Lucas was, was a great way for me to learn as an artist, and to start understanding emotions and understanding myself."

Chad Michael Murray's wife Sarah Roemer, on the other hand, is known for starring with Shia LaBeouf in the 2007 flick, "Disturbia." Prior to Roemer, Murray was previously married to his "One Tree Hill" co-star, Sophia Bush. The two split in 2005.

It seems that Murray will be a devoted father because he recently said that his family would be his top priority, "That's definitely in the cards. I think that's the number-one priority in my life. I'm so blessed."
