Donald Trump Interested In 2016 Presidential Run, Promises To Stop Immigrants From 'Just Walking Into The Country' [PHOTO]

Famed businessman Donald Trump seems to be interested in a run at the White House. According to CBS News, he teased bids in 2008 and in 2012, but never actually ran. This year, however, he spoke of his intentions at the Iowa Freedom Summit, which drew a lot of potential 2016 candidates to Des Moines.

While speaking, Trump made sure to slam potential Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush. He suggested Romney's infamous "47 percent" comment should disqualify him from running, and said that his Massachusetts health care reform plan was too similar to Obamacare.

He said of Jeb Bush, "You can't have Bush. The last thing we need is another Bush... [Jeb's] brother really gave us Obama."

Trump was quick to sing his own praises, stating, "If I run for president, and if I win, I would totally succeed in creating jobs, defeating ISIS, and stopping the Islamic terrorists... reducing the budget deficit... securing our southern border... stopping nuclear weapons in Iran and elsewhere... saving Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid without cutting it down to the bone... repealing Obamacare and replacing it with something far better."

According to Fox News Insider, Trump weighed in heavily on immigration reform, stating that the US must stop people from "just walking right into the country." He said, "Who builds a better wall than Donald Trump? I build the best buildings, walls are easy. And believe me, I would build a wall that is not penetrable."

Despite his promises, many people are doubtful Trump will actually run for office. Business Insider reports that Chuck Todd of "Meet the Press" took a crack at Trump on Sunday morning that Trump didn't appreciate. Todd stated, "Nobody's going to mistake Donald Trump for a presidential candidate, I don't think, other than Donald Trump."

Trump responded by issuing a series of tweets that mocked Todd's ratings. One of them stated, "Word is that @NBCNews is firing sleepy eyes Chuck Todd in that his ratings on Meet the Press are setting record lows. He's a real loser!"

What are your thoughts on Trump's ambitions?
