'Sword Art Online: Lost Song' Producer Yosuke Futami Says Game Will Include '20 To 30 Hours Of Gameplay' Plus New Gameplay Footage Revealed [VIDEO]

After making an appearance at the Taipei Game Show, game producer Yosuke Futami has some exciting news for fans missing their favorite MMORPG player Kirito.

Recently it was revealed that "Sword Art Online: Lost Song," the video game based on the popular anime series "Sword Art Online," would include 20-30 hours of gameplay. Additionally, Futami also mentioned that he'd like to release the game on the Playstation 4 as well was the previously announced consoles Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Fans can watch the all new gameplay footage released at the Taipei Game Show below:

Some fans who watched the video already have expressed plenty of excitement for "Sword Art Online: Lost Song":

"This game keeps sounding better with each new piece of information. I like the idea of character specific episodes, especially seeing as the gameplay doesn't look like it revolves, 100 per cent, around Kirito this time," commented Hobbiton Guard in an ANN forum.

"Ooh I'd so love this on PS4. I can't wait for the songs either. I think both artists are great," exclaimed SpeckTech.

According to Anime News Network "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" was originally announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show. The game is set to be released in Japan on March 26.

Anime News Network also reports that there will be a special edition of "Sword Art Online: Lost Song" that includes a soundtrack CD, bonus content Blu-ray, poster, and special booklet. There will also be localized English and Chinese versions of the game that Bandai Namco says will contain better translations than "Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment."

"Sword Art Online" was originally a series of light novels written by Reki Kawahara. The novel was then adapted into two seasons of anime, streamed to fans by Aniplex.
