The guilty verdict in the Amanda Knox murder case turned one year ago, and the student and her former boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito have moved on and even earned their degrees following their conviction.

Amanda Knox is currently living in West Seattle, in a place where she grew up. She's contributing to a weekly newspaper for theatre productions, as its web editor, Patrick Robinson, gave her a shot.

In an earlier interview with The Daily Beast, Robinson said, "It doesn't matter what people say or think - the truth is that she's a West Seattle resident, she grew up here. Why not give her the opportunity to be an actual human being versus a celebrity?"

Amanda Knox also hooked up with James Terrano, a classical guitarist, but split last year. In September 2014, she was snapped holding hands with aspiring rocker Colin Sutherland.

"Knox also completed her studies at the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in creative writing last year," The Telegraph said.

For his part, Raffaele Sollecito couldn't leave Italy after his conviction in the Amanda Knox murder case trial. But he did manage to graduate in July from Verona University with a degree in information technology.

"In his thesis, Sollecito ran analytics on how his name was used in social media (he found that more people associated his name with innocence than guilt), and whether this influenced the outcome of the case," the article said.

In a previous Examiner report, Amanda Knox's family has allegedly depended heavily on a PR firm to bleach her image during the whole murder case trial.

"The facts are indisputable that Gogerty-Marriott represents Knox and Gogerty-Marriott has prevented mainstream media sources from interviewing their client unless they could promise positive coverage," it said. "A question asked by many who want justice for Meredith Kercher is why does an innocent woman need such an aggressive public relations strategy to prove her innocence?"
