Jeesu, formerly a member of DMTN, will be debuting as a solo singer.

Jeesu, legally Park Jeesu, will debut as solo singer KIXS (pronounced 'Kiss'), in February. Jeesu formerly debuted with DMTN in 2011, when the group was known as Dalmation, and will be debuting under g.o.d singer Kim Tae Woo's agency, Soulshop Entertainment.

Soulshop Entertainment announced the debut with the release of a logo image on its website on Jan. 30.

"The logo has been release for 'KIXS (Kiss)' ahead of the debut of Soulshop's newest face," the company announced through their online channels. "Please look forward and expect much from Soulshop's ambitious rookie KIXS."

Soulshop Entertainment also released several behind the scene photos on their blog from the set of KIXS's debut music video, his album photo shoot, and also of the artist in the recording studio.

KIXS's last activity as a member of DMTN was the release of "Safety Zone" in 2013, but DMTN's promotions  for the song were cut short after member Daniel was arrested under suspicion of selling and using marijuana. Daniel admitted to all charges and after being found guilty, appealed and received a shorter, less severe sentence.

Although DMTN never formally disbanded, the group's official website is inactive. Former member Dari, who had left the group in order to fulfill his military service, released a song in Oct. 2014, co-written by KIXS, under the name Park Jeesu.

Dari shared a picture of KIXS on his Instagram account in anticipation of the debut of his former group mate, also on Jan. 30.

KIXS also opened up an official Twitter account, and began to post pictures on his official Instagram account.

KIXS's first song will be released on February 10. Soulshop Entertainment did not release the name of the debut song.
