Ellen Page's Rumored Girlfriend Shailene Woodley's 'Insurgent' Character Undergoes Severe Transformation; Super Bowl Trailer Promises Action

Shailene Woodley's character Tris underwent severe transformation for "Insurgent" as the trailer shown on Super Bowl promises a lot of action especially scenes involving Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend.

According to E! News, the changes for Tris from the first movie and the sequel will be extreme.

"Her character undergoes a severe physical and emotional transformation in the second installment of Veronica Roth's best-selling series," the website said. "And while the video reveals her changes, this trailer definitely gives fans a better look at all of her gravity-defying stunts."

In the "Insurgent" trailer shown on Super Bowl, Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley's character can be seen freeing herself from the shackles. She jumps through the glass pane and attacks Jeanine, played by Kate Winslet.

If only it were that easy, as Tris finds out that the whole thing is not real. She finds herself falling from the sky while buildings explode all around her. She lands hard on the road. The "Insurgent" trailer on Super Bowl says that "she is the one."

According to the "Insurgent" synopsis: "Beatrice Prior must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side."

Last month, a clip of "Insurgent" was released showing Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley sharing steamy scenes with co-star Theo James, who plays Tris' love interest Four.

"It isn't entirely about saving civilisation that Tris is concerned with as she could be seen showing off her tattooed and pierced back while getting intimate in a short section of the trailer," said MailOnline. "The steamy scene with love-interest Tobias 'Four' Eaton (Theo James) may have been just a moment in the clip but it showcased plenty of kissing and skin."

"Insurgent," starring Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley, is the sequel to "Divergent," which is based on Veronica Roth's YA novels of the same name.
