LG G4 Not Ready For MWC 2015? Release Date Set For May? LG Confirms Encountering Issue With Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 Processor

LG G4 alleged unveiling during this year's Mobile World Congress not happening?

Earlier reports about LG G4 release date suggested the possibility that the next-generation smartphone will be unveiled in the upcoming MWC, a popular event where top manufacturers usually launch their new products. The MWC 2015 is slated to happen from March 2-5 in Barcelona, Spain.

However, the rumor mill is now starting to churn out that LG is not yet prepared to present the LG G4 during the event, and possible earliest release date is now set for May 2015, based on the tech company's release history for its flagship smartphone. The LG G4 was unveiled in May 2014, according to Christian Times.

Moreover, previous reports also noted that LG G4 release date might get delayed because the tech giant encountered a conundrum with Snapdragon 810, the processor that will apparently be used for the LG G2 Flex and LG G4.

LG finally confirmed that it came across an issue with the "initial batch" of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 provided to them. GforGames.com post further reads, "However, the company reassured the media that the aforementioned issues have been dealt with and that the LG G2 Flex and the LG G4 will be released on time."

As for the LG G4 specs, the upcoming smartphone is expected to have a 1440 x 2560p resolution. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset will be paired with 3 GB RAM, according to International Business Times, citing Phone Arena. Moreover, the new phone could be equipped with a 5.5-inch or 5.9-inch display with sapphire crystal glass of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen. The LG G4 battery might have 3500 mAH capacity.
