GTX 980 Ti Release Date: Restless Fans Waiting For GTX 980 Ti May Have to Wait Until 2016; GTX 980 TI Specs Updated

GTX 980 Ti Release Date: While news and rumors about the GTX 980 Ti release now put the date as anywhere from early 2015 to late 2016, fans are poring over details and recently released specs.

The GTX 980 Ti was supposed to have been released in Dec. 2014, but It was reported that production problems are holding up the GTX 980 Ti release.  

Nvidia Corp. says the GTX 980 Ti release date may be pushed to 2016. Eager gamers are looking at the second update of the Maxwell architecture for GTX 980 Ti spec leaks to see what's coming.

According to rumors, the new GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card will have DirectX 12.0 and SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience and PhysX support.

Game sites are speculating that the GTX 980 Ti will cost between $700 up to $1000. According to reports Nvidia is looking at raising the price on the new GeForce GTX Titan single-chip flagship graphics card when it launches. Published reports saying that the new ultra-high-end GTX Titan graphics adapter will cost $1,349. This is a big jump from its predecessors.

According to ecumenicalnews.com, rumors say the new GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card will have with a DirectX 12.0 Support (11.0 Hardware Default) as well as support for SLI, VXGI, MFAA, GameStream, G-SYNC, GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience, PhysX and other technologies. According to reports the memory clock will reportedly operate at around 1753 MHz.

Nvidia hasn't confirmed central unit runs of the upcoming GTX 980 TI.

Nvidia also promised a second revision of GM204, GTX 980 and GTX 970. GM200 is Nvidia's large Maxwell GPU.

The leaked specs are yet to be confirmed by Nvidia.
