The drama "The Innocent Man" came to an end.

On the Thursday episode, the KBS drama "The Innocent Man" finally came to an end with a surprise ending.

Ma Ru (Song Joong Gi) was continuing to experience trace amounts of internal bleeding after the accident and eventually is admitted into the hospital. After realizing that Eun Gi (Moon Chae Won) came to visit him, he goes to find her. 

Ma Ru finds her and takes a knife for her from lawyer Ahn, who was trying to kill her. After a scene that seemed to foreshadow his death, the subtitle said, '7 years later.'

Ma Ru's friend Jae Gil and Choco were married and carrying on a happy life. Jae Hee and lawyer Ahn were paying the price for their cimes. Ma Ru was a doctor at a small clinic after losing his memory as a result of the accident trauma.

Eun Gi, however, was staying around him just as he had stayed around her when she had lost her memory.

In the last scene, Ma Ru gives Eun Gi a ring and the two of them seemed to be getting a fresh start.

However, the ring was the ring that Ma Ru had bought before he lost all his memory and viewers were wondering if he did indeed remember her.
