Prince William, Kate Middleton Baby Number Two To Be Named After Princess Diana? Queen Elizabeth Allegedly Displeased

Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby number two will reportedly be named after the late Princess Diana, who passed away because of a car accident in Paris. The late royal icon died while being hounded by paparazzi although it was later ruled that the driver was drunk. Princess Diana's then-boyfriend Dodi Fayed was also killed in the 1997 crash.

To commemorate the People's Princess, Ok! Magazine reports that Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby number two is a girl and will carry the name of her late grandmother.

"Kate and William found out they were expecting a girl during the 21-week scan, and since then, everyone's been asking what they plan to name her," said the insider to the publication.

The Duchess of Cambridge is believed to be seven months pregnant. She will reportedly deliver her second baby at London's St. Mary's Hospital. E! News, however, contradicts the report because the Palace reportedly doesn't have news yet about the royal infant's gender.

However, last year, news have surfaced that Pippa Middleton threw a baby shower for her 32-year-old sister.

"There were pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails, and a huge white cake," said the source to Star magazine. Even Prince George was reportedly present in the party and managed to charm the guests.

"He had pink icing all around his mouth and everyone was taking photos of him," the insider continued.

If Prince William and Kate Middleton's baby number two will indeed be named after the late Princess of Wales, some are speculating that Queen Elizabeth II will be displeased.

It can be remembered that Princess Diana allegedly had a strained relationship with the Queen because she refused to completely adhere to the royal policies. It didn't help as well that cheating allegations have surfaced when Princess Diana divorced Prince Charles.
