With one of the hottest game in PlayStation, "The Last Of Us" reported to hit the big screen with a live adaptation, cast rumors now brews up as to who would play the lead roles of Joel and Ellie in theaters.

Multiple sites report possible actors who could play the male protagonist in the survival story title.

For the role of Ellie, it is starting to look like "Game Of Thrones" star Maisie Williams would play the role (if the work has been offered to her). All fingers point to the "GoT" actress to take on the female protagonist role reportedly having the talent and the looks that could give justice to the character.

In a previous interview with Williams as reported by Game Spot, Arya Stark claimed that she is surely game for the role if ever the opportunity will come to her.

"So the way it was left is they want me to do it, and I want to do it," she said. "But there's no script, no director, and no anything else. So at this moment, it's looking like, 'Yes,' but it's still such early days. If they make it in 30 years, they can't have a 40-year-old Ellie. So at the moment, it's looking good, and I'd love to do it. Hell yeah."

The Joel role, meanwhile, has a lot of cast rumors and speculation as to who would play "The Last Of Us" part.

With no actors confirming or claiming the part like what Williams did, fans point fingers at numerous actors that would really be considered to have a huge resemblance with the male character in the game.

"Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman, "300" actor Gerard Butler and "American Horror Story" star Dylan McDermott has been the top three for fans.

Really close similarities physically can be seen on the three names mentioned above and with their acting experience and most of all close looks, they are obviously who the fans want.
