Kristen Stewart acknowledges that the "Twilight" vampire franchise has a lot of haters - but she's "f-king proud" of it anyway. In the March issue of "Interview," the "Still Alice" actress revealed that all of her past roles are each an important part of her life.

According to E Online, Stewart stated, "Anybody who wants to talk s--t about 'Twilight,' I completely get it, but there's something there that I'm endlessly, and to this day, f--king proud of. My memory of it felt-still feels-really good."

Stewart went on to reveal that she dislikes when people compare her individual roles to each other, stating, "People are always comparing s--t. Like, comparing 'Twilight' to things and trying to figure out why I've made certain decisions that I've made, and I always say every single moment that has led me to this moment has made me who I am...

I'm always asked about what type of things I want to do, and if I make decisions based on my last project. Say I do a big franchise movie about a vampire that falls in love with a normal girl. Its like, 'Now do you want to show them that you can be a real, serious actor?' Its like, 'Was I not being a real, serious actor?'"

She continued, "Every movie that I've done, they don't stand independently from one another because a little bit of me is in every single one of those, and its part of my own personal growth. I can't say that 'Twilight' doesn't have anything to do with 'Still Alice' and 'Sils Maria.' They have everything to do with each other. They are who I am."

As mentioned, one of Stewart's latest projects is "Clouds of Sils Maria," for which has been nominated for a 2015 César Award. Her work as a supporting actress may win her the French equivalent of an Academy Award, and E Online reports that she is the first American actress in 30 years to receive such an honor.

With that in mind, it sounds like Stewart is making her career decisions just fine.
