Singer and actor Rain and actress Kim Tae Hee are spending their New Year's vacation separately.

According to a media representative for Rain, the busy idol will be filming for his drama in China during the New Year vacation. "After filming for his drama Diamond Lover, he went back to Korea for a few days, but went back to Shanghai to resume filming."

Kim Tae Hee reportedly visited the set of Diamond Lover recently to show support for her boyfriend and to enjoy a short date. But during the New Year vacation, Kim Tae Hee will be spending her break in the U.S. She will be returning to Korea after two weeks of scheduled photo shoots.

The couple was seen at a theme park in Los Angeles last year and again at a BBQ restaurant last June. The two have also been visiting each other at their filming sites to show support.

Rain also was recently baptized to follow his girlfriend Kim Tae Hee, who is a devout Catholic.
