Introducing new characters to the DC universe while paving a path for their upcoming "Justice League" movies in 2017 and 2019.

Jason Momoa, who for months kept quiet on his involvement with Warner was finally revealed to be playing "Aquaman" in a multi-picture contract with the superhero studio, slated to appear in a solo film in as well as in "Justice League."

The actor later on divulged that Warner had him swear that he won't publicly reveal that he was playing the "king of the seven seas" until "Batman V Superman" started with filming.

Momoa answered casting call that required a "tattooed Hawaiian," the actor being a Polynesian nabbed the role.

Zack Snyder posted on his Twitter the first image of Momoa in full "Aquaman" costume adding the hashtag #unitetheseven.

Meanwhile, it was rumored that the first "Batman V Superman" trailer would be attached with the "Jupiter Rising" premiere, then after a spot at Super Bowl XLIX. Both the football event and the movie's weekend has passed but the trailer hasn't dropped yet.

Now various reports claim that it will come with another Warner release, "Mad Mad: Fury Road," a reboot from the original version's director George Miller starring Tom Hardy as the new Max Rockatansky.

"Batman V Superman" releases on Mar. 25, 2016 and stars Henry Cavill reprising his role as the "Man of Steel," Ben Affleck as the new "Batman," and Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman."

Also reprising their roles are Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.

It is uncertain, albeit widely believed, that Jason Momoa's "Aquaman" would making an appearance in the film.
