'Doctor Who' Season 9 Set Photos Confirm Coal Hill School's Return: Will Clara Become The Villain?

As "Doctor Who" season 9 continues filming, recent set photos could provide some spoilers regarding the series' two-part premiere.

Recently, set photos emerged on Doctor Who TV that showed the return of Coal Hill as a location for "Doctor Who" season 9. While Jenna Coleman and Peter Capaldi were not on set, Jenna's body doubles were seen on motorcycles portraying Clara Oswald.

"In the scene a pair of Coal Hill pupils are looking up at the sky worried as a plane has somehow been frozen in the sky," wrote a Doctor Who contributor.

Although it is unknown what the season 9 premiere will entail, Whovians are already conjuring theories based on the set photos.

"Maybe this story has something to do with the Bermuda Triangle," wrote TazminDaytime on Doctor Who TV. "With planes being affected."

Meanwhile, fans are still curious what Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald will bring to a new season of "Doctor Who."

"I had a weird thought, what if Clara were to become a villain by the end of this series?" asked BlinkandYoureDead.

"She is transforming more and more into the Doctor, and as we know, the Doctor has a dark side. She may end up doing something the Doctor won't approve of and he will have to stop her. It would make for an interesting twist and would be great for seeing the Doctor's inner anguish on leading her astray."

Meanwhile, Michelle Gomez has been confirmed to reprise her role as "Missy" aka The Master, and the actress is excited to make her return.

"Things have been a little beige since I left Missy behind, so I'm delighted to be putting my lippie back on," said Gomez. "I'm positively dying to see The Doctor again!"
