Is Harry Styles finally going to leave One Direction to go solo? Meanwhile, some of Taylor Swift's ex Twitter followers are reportedly bogus.

A new report claimed that Harry Styles might be going solo as he holed himself up in the recording studio in LA without the other One Direction members.

Music producer Johan Carlsson told Daily Mail that he has been working with Harry Styles "on and off several days a week for four weeks" to come up with songs and find out "if we can come up with something cool."

Johan Carlsson also complimented Harry Styles, saying, "He's such a good songwriter - it's an honor to write music with him."

"He's fantastic with the words and he can really put down lyrics that are very conversational and people can relate to," he added. "We're just having a good time."

This wasn't the first time it was reported that One Direction's Harry Styles is going solo.

In the middle of last year, the same rumor cropped up prompting the spokesperson of One Direction to release a statement: "Harry has no current plans to release any solo material - his focus is on writing and recording the new One Direction album, and then the world tour which continues in 2015."

Meanwhile, One Direction's Harry Styles' Twitter account has millions of fake followers, according to the report from Twitter Audit App.

"We take a sample of followers and give them a score based on number of tweets, date of last tweet and ratio of followers to friends, TwitterAudit App founder Dave Caplan said per Mirror. "We use these to determine whether any user is real or fake."

However, the study could not determine if Harry Styles-or any other celebrity for that matter-bought the fake Twitter accounts or these are just the run-of-the-mill spam accounts.

"It can be a big ego-boost for stars to have huge Twitter followers - it gives them bragging rights. It is also a useful way of attracting promotional deals," he added.

According to its own study, six million of One Direction's Harry Style's 16 million Twitter followers are bogus.
