On November 30th evening in Hong Kong, MNet crowned the top artists of 2012 via MNet Asian Music Awards. One of the categories up for an award was the Best Solo Dance Performance. The category was presented by Simon Chan, who shone in his pink suit, and showed his "Gangnam Style" moves in all the chance he could get.

True to theme set by Simon, YG Entertainment's Psy's "Gangnam Style" won the Best Solo Dance performance for the night.

Psy looked surprised when he heard his name called out by Simon Chan, apparently not expecting to win the award. Everyone in the audience, including the artists present was happy for the world star singer.  Psy went on to win 2 more awards that night. 

MAMA broadcasted live from the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and will be rebroadcasted on MNET America.
