Pregnant Carrie Underwood has reportedly received parenting advice from Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott.

According to Carrie Underwood news from People, Hillary Scott is excited for the first baby of the former "American Idol" winner and her NHL player husband, Mike Fisher.

"Carrie and I are really good friends," the fellow country singer said.

A new mom to her 18-month-old daughter, Eisele Kaye, Hillary Scott explained that she can relate to the now pregnant Carrie Underwood possibly struggling to balance career and family life.

"It's a weird transition at first - you feel like you have to split your brain because you're in a mommy mode and then you've got to work at such an intense job, too," she said.

The Grammy-winning singer also reportedly shared with Hillary Scott about how she and her Nashville Predators husband plan to bring the baby while on tour.

"Carrie and I talked about the layout of the (tour) bus," Hillary Scott said.

"You need to make sure the walls are padded and you can have the monitor installed in the bunk so you can look at them while you are in the front or the back lounge and make sure they are in a good position."

"A lot of it is finding a really great nanny - someone who can be on the road and understand that life and schedule," she added.

The new mom also reportedly reminded the soon-to-be first time mom Carrie Underwood about the importance of making the baby sleep.

"I told Carrie, 'Don't try to cater the noise thing to the baby because they'll sleep through it,'" she said.

Carrie Underwood made news late last year by announcing her first pregnancy. Her husband is reportedly as excited as she is.

"I think that's important, and obviously kids are going to add a different dynamic that I can't wait for. I think it's going to be awesome," Mike Fisher said, reported by Country Music Television.
