Big Bang Successfully Finishes Tokyo Dome Concert with 55,000 Fans

Idol group Big Bang showed off their popularity with the success of their Tokyo Dome concert.

On December 5, Big Bang held their concert at the Tokyo Dome in Japan with 55,000 fans. Even though this concert was on a weekday, many students and office workers attended.

Even though they had sold out of their tickets, there were still many requests from fans asking them to hold additional concerts for those that were not able to buy a ticket. YG Entertainment stated, "Although there were many requests, we have still decided to leave it with just one performance this time around."

Being able to perform at the Tokyo Dome is a rare happening and Big Bang was able to stand on that stage after only 3 years since debut.

Member Seungri commented, "Dreams do become a reality. We were near the Tokyo Dome 3 years ago doing a concert at JCB Hall in front of 2,000 fans. Now we're performing at the dome with 55,000 fans."

On the other hand, Big Bang will continue on to Hong Kong, London, and other countries until next year before they officially end their world tour.
