'Man Of Steel' Star Henry Cavill Teams Up With 'The Expendables 2' Director For 'Stratton;' Gina Carano's Ex Frontrunner In' Fifty Shades Of Grey' Sequel?

"Man of Steel" actor Henry Cavill has confirmed to be joining the cast of "Stratton," which will be directed by "The Expendables 2" director Simon West.

In another report, Gina Carano's ex is reportedly perfect to replace Jamie Dornan for the role of Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel, in the wake of reports that the sex scenes in the movie had upset his wife Amelia Warner.

"I've long wanted to tell a story about the British Special Forces, and finally the opportunity has come around," said "Man of Steel" Henry Cavill to Variety.

"Duncan Falconer's work is fantastic, and we are incredibly fortunate to be working with him so closely. We plan to convert the books to cinema as accurately as possible while keeping them topical. Simon West is a perfect match for this movie with his ability to marry storytelling and action, both of which are essential to do this project justice," Gina Carano's ex Henry Cavill of "Man of Steel" fame.

According to the magazine, the film "Stratton" is based on Duncan Falconer novels involving an operative for the Special Boat Service who is trying to take on a global terrorist cell operating across Europe and Central Asia.

Meanwhile, UK's Mirror  listed the possible actors who would have the chops to play Christian Grey. But first, they need to fit a certain criteria.

The actor needs to "be handsome, happy to get naked, be charming, have 'hidden darkness' and finally "be willing to not quit after one film."

"Superman himself obviously has the face, physique, and acting talent to play the famous character," the publication said of Gina Carano's ex Henry Cavill. "Cons: Might look a bit weird as a ginger?"

Nevertheless, there's no confirmation yet on Jamie Dornan's camp that he won't reprise his role as Christian Grey on the sequel of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
