The Samsung Economic Research center announced that Psy's "Gangnam Style" ranked number  for this year's best item.

They held a survey online with 19,701 people and with professionals to choose 2012's best hit item.

The result was 'world star' Psy and his famous "Gangnam Style." 

Psy released his song back in July and ranked number 1 on many charts. He is also now the most watched video of all time on YouTube.

He is also the first Korean artist to rank number 1 on the Britain chart as well.
